Ume's new LP, Monuments, comes out March 4, 2014, on Dangerbird Records. This is he bands full length debut, Phantoms (2011). You can pre-order the LP via iTunes.
No tour dates yet (but the band tour like crazy so you have to think there will be an extensive tour). Ume is a band hard to pin down to a genre--it can be heavy, it can be sort of mellow. It grabs a little modern psyche-rock and throws in some old-school shoegaze and a whole slew of other bits and pieces. What matters, of course, is the whole and if the new LP is anywhere near Phantoms? It will be a must-buy release.
