Tony Lucca began his career (his music career..I am not going to mention the Mickey Mouse Club—oops, I mentioned it) self-releasing and self-promoting his first couple of releases via his own website. In 2009 he toured with Sara Bareilles, who appears on this record.
The record also has a Billy Joel cover. We are happy to report that this cover is not a cover of Tell Her About It or It’s Still Rock N Roll To Me but rather Vienna. Vienna is a song from back when Billy Joel didn’t make people want to puncture their ear drums with an ice pick. And, I will admit, I really like the song, Rosalinda’s Eyes.
ANYWAY, enough on Mr. Joel. Lucca is a talented guy who tours a good deal and is worth a look and a listen. You may well have heard his music on a number of television shows and in the movies. He has also been a frequent guest on Last Call With Carson Daly.
