They Might Be Giants have a new record, Join Us, and they are heading out on tour in celebration. The record comes out July 19 on Idelwild/Rounder Records but the tour starts earlier. We posted the track, Can’t Keep Johnny Down, awhile back.
It is hard to believe this band has been around for around 30 years. It is even harder to believe they have won two Grammys. When did the Grammy’s ever have that sort of taste? They won one for the Malcolm in the Middle Theme song. You can also hear their fingerprints on The Dailey Show With Jon Stewart’s theme.
ANYWAY. They are heading out on tour. This is the first leg. More dates will follow.
