The band begins a tour with appearances at SXSW. They are touring with Trampled By Turtles. That is much more painful than you might imagine, especially if you pass out dead drunk in a the zoo giant tortoise pen.
The record is a mix of all sorts of American musical styles and is, indeed a look back at a potpourri of Americana such as outlaw country, folk ballads and even psych rock.
