Ottawa’s The Acorn is heading out on a big ass tour. As you might expect this has something to do with an upcoming album, No Ghost. The album is due out Sept 7 but you can get it digitally now. You can sample a remix track, Kindling to Cremation via My Old Kentucky Blog HERE.
The record was recorded in a cottage in Northern Quebec. The atmosphere was rustic. No word on whether they wore really tiny bathing suits during the recording session (sorry, a Floridian joke, Floridians associate Quebecoise with tiny bathing suits).
Earlier today I sent out an interview for www.gearwire.com regarding the recording of this new record and I hope to have this posted soon!
