The Spring Standards have a new record, yellow/gold, on the way. Apparently this is not one release but TWO eps. Ok, whatever. I never understand why people want to confuse their marketing like that but I am sure there is philosophy behind it (like Kant or Schopenhauer or perhaps Rutger Hauer).
ANYWAY..the yellow part of this thing is about the group’s collective nostalgia for their childhood. Gold is about young life in the big city. Both come out on May 1st and if the first video is any indication? This double ep may be a keeper.
Do you like indie pop? Yes? Really who doesn’t? And that is what these guys are all about (using the term “guys” in the broadest sense, the sense that includes females). The video for the track, Here We Go, is below as are tour dates.
