The Shivering Brigade, out of Brooklyn, is set to release a debut EP, Dog Days and Cat Years, on July 30, 2013. The LP will be out digitally and on vinyl (via a Kickstarter campaign that ends TOMORROW July 20). You can check out the single, Feelin' Good, Lookin' Dead, via Bandcamp below.
The music, as you will notice, mixes punk rock and cabaret influences to create a dark, vaguely heavy sound. They used to call stuff like this "goth" but that is out of fashion these days isn't it? Hard to imagine a band disdaining comparisons to latter day The Damned or Bauhaus but..well..kids today!
