The Parlor Mob, out of New Jersey (but we won’t hold that against them, are releasing their second record, Dogs, on October 11, 2011 on Roadrunner Records. The video for their first single, Into The Sun, is below. The band is also giving the track a way if you “like” them on Facebook. This is one of those bands, from what I heard, who will appeal to those who like the indie rock AND those who prefer their rock served straight up.The press release for the band compares them to The White Stripes and while sonically I am not really sold on that as far as the appeal of the band? I think there is something to the comparison.
