The Milk Carton Kids released both of their first two records, Retrospect, and Prologue, for free. Over a 115,000 people downloaded the recordings. The band tour incessently and are currently taking a short break to work on a third record (no word on if it is free but damn people, put a crowbar in your wallet, these guys have to eat too).
