The Cars, with Rik Ocasek back, are releasing a new record, Move Like This, May 10 and heading out on tour. The tour will include old and new material.
The Cars reformed after Ocasek decided the best way to use a selection of new songs he wrote was to get back together with the remaining members of The Cars. They say they do not want it to be all about nostalgia but that is kind of a tall order. They brought producer “Jacknife” Lee who has worked with U2, REM, The Hives and Weezer.
