image by Dennis Van Doom Swans will once again be on tour to support the 2 CD release, The Seer (one of the best records last year). This is the second studio release of the re-formed Swans. This is not the usual “I need to pay the rent” reunion. When I heard about it I was skeptical the new material would be interesting. After so many years how do you stay “vital”?
Swans manage. It isn’t going too overboard to say The Seer is among the best the group—in various incarnations—has ever produced.
