Julius
STRFKR, (Starfucker STRFKR is the PG13 version of the name) of Portland, Oregon just released a new of the single, Julius by San Francisco’s Painted Palms. The band are also going out on tour with The Octopus Project beginning September 29 in Little Rock, Arkansas. STRFKR play a few solo dates before this beginning with one in Boise, Idaho. The track Julius was originally recorded in Joshua Hodges (the band’s main songwriter) in his bedroom.. Stuff (to use the technical music term) was then added at the Odditorium studio with producer Jacob Portrait (Dandy Warhols,Mint Chicks). A single/alternative version of Julius will be released with the B-side, Helium Muffin, as the first single on Polyvinyl Reords. The 7 inch comes out October 12 as a limited edition of 500 on blue vinyl. If you are all new-fangled it is out digitally now. You can preorder the single HERE.
