Serj Tankian (System Of A Down) has a new record, his third solo effort, coming this summer. Tankian, wrote most of the record in 2011, which was one of the artist’s busiest years to date. He also composed the music for the rock musical, Prometheus Bound, release a book of poetry (Glaring Through Oblivion) and toured with System of a Down across three continents. He performed with the Opera Orchestra in Yerevan Armenia. In addition he met with heads of state and hosted nonprofit events. Tankian also performed his first show in Lebanon, his birthplace, with the Lebanese Symphony Orchestra.
After all the “on the road” activity he came back to the USA and finished writing four records in different genres.
