Pert Near Sandstone, a Minneapolis bluegrass outfit, have a new video for their song, Paradise Hop. The song is the title track for the band’s latest release, which comes out November 15, 2011. It is the band’s first record in two years.
The band has been out on tour for the past month and dates continue in November (and are listed below).
I am not familiar with Pert Near Sandstone. Not all bluegrass is GOOD of course but it is a genre that requires you to be able to PLAY. What I mean is there are bands in the genre who are inventive and others who are not but they can ALL play. Does that make sense? Probably not.
