I neglected to post this earlier because I was drunk. Tim Larson & the Owner Operator's record, A New Deal, is currently available to stream free at AOL Spinner.
The reviews and write ups keep talking about how it is "Americana" and "alt country" (huh?). I hear all sorts of stuff. Some of it sounds like Radiohead. Some of it reminds me of Kings of Leon. Some of it does remind me of Johnny Cash too I suppose. Go listen. It won't cost you a thing--except that you will want to buy it.
