Ocote Soul Sounds is getting out on the road this December. The festivities start at FFF Fest and the tour proper begins December 7th. The band’s fourth studio record, Taurus, is out now.
The band is a mix of funk, Afro-Cuban, psychedelic and more. This new record was produced by Eric Hilton of Thievery Corporation. It is the first time they worked with an outside producer. It almost has to be a good thing right?
Latin rhythms, funk, with a dash of cosmic ambience?
You can also help out by tossing some cash to the band via a Kickstarter campaign they are revving up. Mid sized acts have always had a brutal time on the road in general money-wise and these days it is even more of a challenge. You can find out more HERE.
