Neighbors
Now, Now , from Minneapolis are releasing an ep, Neighbors, on December 7 on No Sleep Records. The record is totally about the attack on Pearl Harbor. Actually, it isn’t. But that would be cool.
Two years ago they released, Cars, and then toured around Europe and the USA. Those experiences, playing in giant venues as an opener, led to the ideas they recorded as Neighbors. The ep was totally home recorded and engineered. Which is not as big a deal as 20 years ago. The recording software out there can do what you’d have needed to go to Electric Ladyland for 30 years ago. Ok, maybe I exaggerate a tad.
You can find merch and limted edition stuff at th No Sleep website. The band will tour for the rest of 2010 and head back to the home studio to record their second album following that.
