My Best Fiend’s debut recording, In Ghostlike Fading, comes out February 21 on Warp. The band are from Brooklyn. Descriptions of the music call it “ethereal”, “dark” and “romantic.” You can check out a track from the release below.
The band will play a show at Grasslands in NYC with The Hundred in the Hands January 27, 2012.
The band take their name from the documentary on the monster/actor that was Klaus Kinski (the documentary truly does not make him look …human). But it also doesn’t ruin the films he did with Werner Herzog.We don’t have to hang around with him, especially since he is dead.
