Mean Creek, Out Of Boston, Touring With Counting Crows

Mean Creek are out of Boston and are about to head out on tour, a second time, as the opener for Counting Crows. Tour dates are below. The band will also hit this year’s CMJ. Mean Creek are touring to support their upcoming second record, Youth Companion.

The readers of the Boston Phoenix voted the band “Best Boston Band” for two years in a row. I am not sure what that means.  I guess it means Bostonians who read the Boston Phoenix like them.  Getting deeper I suppose we really never know what anything means.
