Mairi Morrison spoke Gaelic before she spoke English and comes from one of the furthermost Islands in Scotland. That may, if you know your Celtic peoples and their music, give you an idea where at least part of this record is coming from.

Roberts doesn’t speak Gaelic and this is, in essence the meeting of someone who started life steeped in old traditions and someone rediscovering them.
