Boston-based apparel company Life is good®, are hosting are hosting a two day music fest aiming to earn a million dollars to help threatened children facing violence, illness and extreme poverty. The fest is employing a new fund-raising technique; fans who raise money for the cause will get special perks as a VGP (a very good person).
The fest will take place Sept. 11 and 12 at Prowse Farm at in the
Blue Hills in Canton, Massachusetts (near Boston). Apparently you can get there via public transport and there will be shuttles to and from the train station (free parking too).
There will be three stages, activities, food, children’s performers and art projects. The line-up will be announced soon. And if you were thinking “hmm new festival, this is going to be a cluster-fuck” you would be wrong. Life is good partnered with Superfly Productions, the producers behind both Bamboozle and the Outside Land festivals.
