Only Here For The Fight
Jenny Wilson is already a success in Sweden from whence she comes. But now she has come, figuratively if not literally, to America via her new release, Hardships!
The album comes out on August 24. I have a copy. It is good. I am not doing a review, I promised myself I was not going to do reviews but since they sent me a copy I have to mention it right? RIGHT?
One thing I do like about the album is the subtle use of unusual instrumentation. I am not sure UNUSUAL is right but perhaps unusually placed. The record is self produced which shows Wilson as a well rounded musical talent. The press release compares her to Bjork. I would not do so.
