Jarrod Gorbel, once a member of The Honorary Title, has a solo album ready for release, Devil's Made a New Friend, will hit the streets August 31 on Burning-house Records via his own label, Gorbel Music.
The record is produced by Blake Sennett (Rilo Kiley, The
Elected)and members of Rilo Kiley, Black Crowes, Azure Ray and Mystic Valley Band all make appearances.
Every song on the record will also have a live video—recorded about New York City. Other guest musicians will appear in the videos. Thes videos will be released every ten weeks (and are already out in many cases) up to the CD release date.
Currently a video of Gorbel doing a rendition of his track , Ten Years Older, with the choir of New York;s PS22 in Staten Island is available. You can see the video below.
