Rat City
Jack Oblivion’s latest, Rat City, comes out September 13. Oblivion deconstructs American roots music and plays most of the instruments on the record. He will also play a show, as part of Goner Fest, to celebrate the release on September 22.
Oblivion is based in Memphis and has been a contributor to tons of work by other artists (notably Andre Williams and Tav Falco’s Panther Burns). He was raised in Mississipi and later moved to Memphis where he was a founder of The Oblivians.
