Forecastle Festival announces their 2014 line-up. Tickets go on sale March 7 at noon at forecastlefest.com. The Louisville, Kentucky festival isn't just about international artists but is a uniquely Kentucky experience (bourbon, food, art, cousin-marrying...ok I made the last one up).
The festival emphasizes sustainability and conservation. Nothing says "conservation" like tons of garbage....I wish festivals would just say "less heinous than we could be." The notion that any such event is "green" is total nonsense but it can still be an awesome event with great bands, food and more.
