TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek is launching a new record label. Federal Prism. Sitek will, himself, produce, record, mix and release limited edition 12 inch vinyl picture discs. Each will be limited to 500 copies . In addition to all his other duties Sitek will also hand silkscreen the jackets. I hear he is also making all the bands lunch and cutting their hair.
The first release in the series will be from Telepathe, entitled Destroyer. It comes out October 30. Telepathe are an electro pop do out of Brooklyn. The Bside of this release is a remix by Trent Reznor, Alessandro Cortini and Atticus Ross.
