Does anyone care about “the charts” anymore except PR people? No? Didn’t think so. Nonetheless Far East Movement is out making a name for themselves with opening slots on big tours and lots of soundtrack appearances. The single in question is Like a G6 and the band’s debut album, Free Wired, is set for release October 12 on Cherry Tree/Interscope Records.
The press release goes on and on about this chart of that chart. Blah blah BLAH (there is also reference to their “stylish shades” and “skinny ties”…lord have mercy). One thing that is interesting is the band is the first Asian-American band to BE on the mainstream pop charts. It hardly seems possible!
