July will see Dawn McCarthy and Bonnie "Prince" Billy heading out on the road to support their recent LP, What The Brothers Sang, a collection of Everly Brothers tunes. Also on the tour are Emmett Kelly, Cheyenne Mize and Van Campbell (who won't be at the Alaska and Yukon shows).
Re-imagining these songs today for a new generation is an interesting concept, especially since they are still in heavy rotation on every oldie's station. Will hipsters want to head back and grab some Everly Brothers vinyl?
