Daisy Berkowitz will be opening for Dizzy Reed’s (Guns & Roses) band, Hookers & Blow Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at The Bowery Electric (327 Bowery, New York City) . The show is hosted by Don Jameson of VH1’s That Metal Show. The festivities begin at 8:30 p.m.
Fans of the early (indeed earliest) Marilyn Manson (when there were still spooky kids even) rejoice! And no, not over that overly parenthetical sentence; Berkowitz (aka Scott Mitchell Putesky) will be performing solo and playing, for the first ime, tracks from the firast Marilyn Manson solo LP, Portrait Of An American Family.
I remember Putesky's first solo outing, under the moniker Three Ton Gate. I listened to it quite a bit when I first recieved it. This press release had me dig it out again. Make sure to check this out. Putesky is also a talented visual and soundtrack artist and I envy New Yorkers for getting a chance to see this rare show.
