Yes, Ben Lear is his son and he recently released an album called Lillian. It is a love story and a tale of plastic pollution in our oceans. It is all set to a sort of indie folk meets orchestra sound. And yes, I know, while Ben Lear likely loves his dad he is probably irritable that people like ME lead pieces on him referring to his father first. Normally I wouldn't do that but I have always felt The Jeffersons a truly groundbreaking series (it was the first one where a rich black guy was a jerk).
