Micah Sheveloff's debut album, Exhibitionist, is out now. In fact, it has been out for a couple of months but we thought we should remind you about these ten songs by the pianist and songwriter. You can get the record at all the usual online purveyors of fine music. There is also a high-res 96k audiophile edition available from HD Tracks.

You may recall an earlier post of the cover of Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell. That track includes vocals from Mike Munro of Meliah Rage.

This is a unique collection of songs from an unusual talent--someone with a different vision.

The Mynabirds are awesome. Now that we have that out of the way the band is releasing a limited edition colored 7 inch for their track, Body of Work, November 20th. You can pre-order it HERE. It will also be available at the usual digital outlets.

The 7 inch is limited to 1000 various colored vinyl copies. The B-side will be the previously unreleased track, In the Mouths of Wolves. The release will be in a 4 panel jacket that can be folded into an origami wild horse. I am not making that up.

Sóley Stefánsdóttir, from Iceland, has a new video for the track, I'll Drown. He is also heading out on tour opening for Of Monsters And Men. Her debut record, We Sink, is out now. Unfortunately you will notice most of the dates are sold out. It is to be hoped she tours solo at some point.

The Airborne Toxic Event has a few tour dates..very few...Chicago and NYC. These are the first shows since the band began recording their latest LP. Pre-sale of these shows begins October 24 with public sale on October 26. Hopefully "pre-sale" doesn't mean "scalper sale."

The band's third record, which comes out next year, is nearly done. They are recording with producer, Jacquire King in Nashville.

They are also a really great live act. It is to be assumed that there will be more dates. We did photos of a show in Chicago awhile back. If you only know their hit single? You will be surprised by the diversity and depth of the music. They are a fantastic live band.

Morcheeba is one of the bands who reached the pinnacle of trip-hop. Vocalist, Skye has her third solo record, Back To Now, coming out October 30, 2012. The first single is Featherlight and the video for the track is below. Stephen Fitzmaurice produces.

All fans of trip-hop and its children should have a listen to the track and look forward to the full length. Fitzmaurice has also worked with Paloma Faith, Metronomy and Professor Green.

New York City's Strip Darling first came together in 2002 under another name but their inspirations remain the same; from Portishead to Led Zeppelin to Grizzly Bear.

IAMX has a new double A-Side single for the title track of their upcoming LP, The Unified Field. The single comes out December 3, 2012 and the LP sometime in early 2013. The single also includes remixes by We Love Machines and Faux Fields.

The record was funded by using Pledge Music.

Chris Corner is also documenting the production of the new record on his Youtube channel. Jim Abbiss who has worked with Arctic Monkeys, Temper Trap, Adele and, unsurprisingly, Sneaker Pimps, is co-producing. The record is also a reunion of sorts, Corner is once again working with fellow Sneaker Pimp, Liam Howe on a few traacks.
