When you think of Nashville, Indie Rock is not the first thing that springsto mind. But there is music outside of country in Nashville (some might suggest that there isn’t even actual country in Nashville…Not ME, but some people…).The Apache Relay, out of Nashville, play a sort of hybrid roots rock,country with other stuff tossed in (how is that for detailed analysis?) They are releasing their second record American Nomadon April 12, 2011 on Thirty Tigers.
The record is produced by Nielson Hubbard. Their first record, titled 1988,came out in 2009. This confused the hell out of me. I had to read the sentencea couple of times.
