Black Taxi head out on an East Coast winter tour starting November 28, 2012. A large number of these dates appear to be in Florida where it will be nice and warm. Check out the dates below.

The band is touring to support their second record, We Don’t Know Any Better, which came out earlier in the year.

Jonathan Wilson Releasing Pity Trials & Tomorrows Child EP Digitally

Jonathan Wilson’s EP, Pity Trials & Tomorrow’s Child, comes out today digitally. The EP was out before as a limited edition 12 inch for Record Store Day. The EP includes a cover of Isn’t It A Pity by George Harrison.

If you like your singer/songwriters thought processes to be expansive then Wilson is someone you need to check out. He is a North Carolina native who has worked as a producer for artists such as Father John Misty and Dawes. IN addition he has collaborated with artists such as Elvis Costello, Jackson Browne and Erykah Badu.

Diamond Version Release Video For "Forever New Frontiers"

Diamond Version has a new video or their track, Forever New Frontiers, in advance of the November 27 release of their EP2. The group has been releasing a series of EPs and 12 inches over the past several months. A full length is coming in 2013.

Erin McKeown Releasing New Crowd-Funded Effort, "Manifestra" In January, Hear A Track Now

Erin McKeown has a new record of political songs, Manifestra. The title is a word McKeown coined to describe hoe internal change becomes external. The record was a crowd funded effort that comes out January 15, 2013 on TVP Records (the artist’s own imprint).

What? You say you cannot wait to hear a track? Below is the first single, The Jailer, endorsed by NPR and, apparently, Rachel Maddow. Tour dates are also below!

Austin Psyche Fest Band's Announced, April 26-28

Austin Psyche Fest features psychedelic music and happens every year. It is the brainchild of Austin's own The Black Angels.

This is also just the initial lineup. More bands will be added to the festival, which takes place at Carson Creek Ranch on the Colorado River, in January. The full festival schedule and individual tickets will be available in March.

An official DVD of the 2012 event will also be available in January and orders can be placed now.

Land Observations Have A New Video For "Via Flaminia"

Land Observations has a new video--Via Flaminia. The song is off the debut, Roman Roads IV-XI. The record was released in September on Mute and you can purchase it in your favorite format (digital, CD, Vinyl..sorry no 8 Track). Land Observations is a solo project of James Brooks.

Brooks was part of the previous Mute band, Appliance. His work is not just aural but also visual and the packaging for the record includes his work. Much of this record was, both visually and aurally, created in Brooks' apartment in London.

8MM Touring East Coast, Releasing Vinyl LP, "Between The Devil And Two Black Hearts"

8MM are playing some East Coast shows (their first in the east) to support their LP, Between The Devil And Two Black Hearts. The LP comes out on red vinyl November 30, 2012 (it was released otherwise last year). They are also getting into the holiday spirit, releasing a remastered version of their holiday recording, On A Silent Night. You can buy the holiday EP HERE.

The group is Juliette Beavan and husband, Sean Beavan (a noted producer/mixer who has worked with No Doubt, Nine Inch Nails and others).

Iceage Touring UK, Sign To Matador For Sophmore LP

Iceage, from Denmark, have their second record coming February 19, on Matador Records (on Escho in Denmark). The band's first, New Brigade, came out a couple of years ago. The band has been touring since then.

The band is touring the UK (with some shows in Denmark as well) in November and December.

Surrender The Fall are heading out on tour. You can check out the dates below. The band's latest record, Burn in the Spotlight, came out in September on Rum Bum Records. They have a top 40 single with Love Hate Masquerade.

A new single, Some Kind Of Perfect, is coming out to radio on November 26. The band has toured twice in the fall and they are heading out again in the winter.

The band hails frm Memphis and are true road warriors. They tour. Then they tour some more.
