Deap Valley, out of Los Angeles, have a debut single out on Ark Recordings coming July 31. The single, Gonna Make My Own Money, has a video to with it and you can see it below. alt-J have a new video, based on the work of Raphael’s School of Athens, for their track, Tessellate. The group are also heading out to play some shows in August. These are in advance of the release of their latest recording, An Awesome Wave. The new LP comes out September 18. Atlas Genius , from Adelaide, Australia, and now signed to Warner Brothers, are heading to the USA. This is their first visit to the USA (first tour anyway). It all begins August 11 at Summerfest in Columbus, OH. Check out the tracks, Back Seat and Trojans, below (tried to post video for the former). Trojans sold over 50,000 downloads before their signing to WB. The music is a sort of alternative pop and you can expect a full length recording later this year.
