If you think electronic music means “techno” or things that go “beep” in the night? You are wrong. These two make dancey pop music with a little bit of an edge…just a little. Give a listen. DJ Puzzle (aka Jason Donnelly) is a musician, producer and maker of loops extraordinaire. Recently TWO of his sample CDs, Wobble Talk and Clubstep, made it into the Beatport Sounds Top Ten list for Dubstep. Any producer looking for dubstep and brostep samples might be into it. Check them out at Beatport. Keep in mind these are not songs but samples so YOU can create songs. This isn’t all of DJ Puzzle’s work. Check out more at Reverbnation. But again, this isn't all. As you might imagine Donnelly creates music. You can check out his latest single, Lose Control (Heat Up The Snow) at Juno Downloads or at iTunes. Milkman, purveyor of progressive house and mash-upper extraordinaire, has a new single, Tiger Lily (listen below). He, for Milkman is producer and artist Gregg Luskin, is touring in May to support his new EP, Fragments. The tour, entitled Doing Bodies Good Tour, will include XXXChange and Billy Van. Five of these tracks have never been available digitally before. You can get the EP at the band website, www.redhotchilipeppers.com. Dates are below, as are various ways to listen to his music. Not a ton of dates on this outing so if you get a chance to go, be sure to make it out. See? Even I am not sure what more to say about Rustie (especially since most of the notices I have read are gibberish).
