The Wave Pictures latest, Beer In The Breakers, comes out April 19 on Moshi Moshi Records. The band apparently lives for the lo-fi….this was recorded in one day. I think Bob Dylan’s Blonde on Blonde was done in a similar fashion so don’t worry. Although one of the songs on that record is 20 minutes long.
The band made their debut in North America last year with a double record (hmm can I use the Blonde on Blonde comparison AGAIN you think?), Instant Coffee Baby/If You Leave It Alone.
Oddly the band have a decades long history in Europe but are only just reaching out those of us in the USA and Canada.
