The Wailers are about to head out on a 2011 tour as well. They have three new singers working with them. The current line-up consists of Yvad, Koolant and Danglin as well as the legendary bassist and band musical director Aston “Familyman” Barrett.
A Step For Mankind was written by Duane Stephenson with the World Food Programme in mind. The band will also donate unused funds from their hospitality riders directly to the UN World Food Program. The track is the band’s first new studio track since the mid 1990s.
Stephenson has a new record of his own, Black Gold, that he is promoting. He joins The Wailers on the tour.
