The Poison Oaks A Sort Of Indie Rock Orchestra, Releasing 7 Inch, "Pine"

The Poison Oaks started their musical life as a studio experiment. Fiddler Laura Cortese was the woman behind the experiment. She has played backing a slew of artists including: Band of Horses, Patterson Hood, Michael Franti and Uncle Earl. Now the band has a 7 inch, Pine,  coming with three downloadable bonus tracks. The release date is November 9, 2011.

The music is compared to St. Vincent or My Brightest Diamond. The Poison Oaks includes a ton of musicians. Find out more HERE.
