The Moor’s debut features eight songs featuring a bevy of special guest musicians Josh Klinghoffer (PJ Harvey, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Simon Lord (Simian, Black Ghosts), and Bryan Hollon (Boom Bip, Neon Neon) and finishing touches by Noah Georgeson (Joanna Newsom, The Strokes).
I am not sure what to say about the track. It is a little lo-fi, a little indie. Probably a little rough to call “dream rock”, or “dream folk” but there is a wee bit of an ethereal quality. Maybe a little bit of a Kranky vibe. Anyone remember Kranky? Chicago label from back in the 90s?
