The Classic Crime, currently in the midst of a tour. Their latest self-released record, Phoenix, has charted on the iTunes chart and Billboard as well. I confess to no longer knowing precisely what “charting” means in this day and age but usually albums that chart are not self-released. Good For The Classic Crime.
The band is out of Seattle and part of the “revitalization” of their career came from a Kickstarter campaign. Some bands use those to get beer money and get rid of piles of CDs lying around. The Classic Crime apparently did it right.
The record has only been out a few weeks. You can find it physically all over and digitally at the usual suspects online. If a retailer doesn’t have it? Tell them you want it. Help those who help themselves.
