Squarrepusher/Z Machines' EP, Music For Robots, comes out April 8, 2014.
The future is here I suppose. Last year Squarepusher and various Japanese composers were invited to create music to be played by a music performing system (three robots called Z Machines). You can check out th video of Squarepusher's Sad Robots Go Funny.
It sounds like smooth jazz. I was expecting something angrier like the robots from Terminator.
This one song led to the creation of the EP (since Squarepusher felt there were stones left unturned).
