A limited edition CD from Slorder, with Stephen Egerton, is out for $6 at the label webstore.
The run is limited to 200 copes and comes in a hand silk-screened package. When these are sold, that’s it…no more. You will be able to get the record digitally soon, however.
If Egerton sounds familiar you may recall him from Descendents and ALL. Jay Clements and Bryan Gorder make up the band rhythm section. The band is based in Tulsa, OK, where they arrived in 2003. The genesis of this music is material Egerton didn’t use on his solo record, The Seven Degrees Of Stephen Egerton. More riffs than songs, these just didn’t fit on the solo effort but were too good to not use. Egerton brought in Clements and Gorder to “expand” the songs. They recorded the tracks in less than a week in 2009. They already have another record for later this year.
