I have managed to miss the seemingly always touring Van Etten at least three times in recent years. Just because I am a pinhead doesn’t mean you need be one. Make note of the dates.
Apparently Van Etten was sort of “homeless” during the 14 months of sessions for this record. Apparently the closest thing to home was the garage studio of Aaron Dessner (The National). Shows on the upcoming tour will include dates with Shearwater and The War On Drugs.
