Self Scientific is producer DJ Khalil and rapper Chace Infinite and they want you to hear their music. So much so that you can download their EP, Trials of the Blackhearted for free HERE.
Self Scientific are out of Los Angeles and first appeared in the 90s. They didn’t fit neatly into any sub category of rap (usually a good sign for any music) . The two have not worked together for about 6 years, in part because Khalil has beei in the studio working with a who’s who of hip hop (Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Jay Z, Drake, Game, Snoop Dogg, Nas and the Clipse).
They also dropped a video for the track, Peaceful, last week.
