Ranjit Barot is a highly respected Indian musician. He is a composer, drummer, producer and more. His otherworldly music brings East and West together. His debut international record, the peculiarly titled, Bada Boom (Sopranos fan?) comes out November 16.
Barot has composed music for films and won awards doing that. He has produced and played numerous other artists. Finally he is working just for himself. Among the guests on his record are Zakir Hussain and John McLaughlin. Bada Boom consists of four original songs and two re-imaginings of Indian traditional music.
