Ok, how the HELL have I never heard about the Punk Rock Bowling Tournament and Music Festival? It has been going on for THIRTEEN YEARS. Sure, the last time I bowled and 11 year old girl, who bowled by rolling the ball between her legs with both hands beat me, but…still..PUNK ROCK bowling?
The festival takes place Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-30 in Downtown Las Vegas at the intersection of 6th and Fremont. Bands showing up this year include; Dropkick Murphys, Descendents, Cock Sparrer, Me First and The Gimme Gimmes, Bouncing Souls, Dwarves, Manic Hispanic & The Undertones…and more will be announced soon.
Early Bird Weekend passes go on sale Friday, February 18 at Midnight for $80. (limited number of these)
There are also discounted hotel rooms. Showa are all ages but if you are under 18 you have to come with an adult. Doors are at 3:30 p.m. and the shows are done by 11 p.m.
