We first talked about Nadine Carina as part of an ongoing singles project, then we talked about her experimental, Bandcamp-released EP, Little Bits. Now Carina is back with more of her musical stylings. The previous record was a more electronic and experimental.
The new effort, Where I Love, has a more traditional 50s and 60s singer vibe. There is a little bit of Feist lurking in here (purely unintentional I am sure). There is also a very strong early 60s girl singer vibe. But there are hints of the previous recording's electronic elements too.
This release is available only as a limited CD although you can hear it at BANDCAMP. You really should listen to it.
