DeRosa's latest LP, and his first LP under this guise, is A Wolf In Preacher's Clothes. The record takes many musical cues from crooners of the 40s and 50s but both music and lyrics show DeRosa's other influences from punk to post punk to goth (everyone avoids that word...it really isn't shameful).
The album and its predecessor, the Anchored EP, are great pieces of songwriting and musicianship. This is a great chance for folks in Europe to check out DeRosa live. And while I have not heard the new Lydia Lunch/Gallon Drunk project, Big Sexy Noise? I think you can bet it they will be worth a gander as the headliner.
