I have a soft spo to for band names with a historical reference. Henry Clay People are one of these and it just so happens they have a new record coming. Twenty-Five for the Rest of Our Lives comes out on June 26. The new record also sees the return to the band’s original line up. You can check out the album title track below via Soundcloud.
Henry Clay People spent a lot of time in 2010-11 out on the road. They toured with Silversun Pickups, Drive by Truckers and Against Me! They also played at a slew of festivals. It is a good bet to assume they will tour to support the new record. No dates have been announced yet but look for them in the summertime.
