Fenster Touring USA To Support Upcoming LP, "The Pink Caves," Out March 4, 2014

Fenster have a USA tour in the offing in support of their second LP, The Pink Caves, out March 4, 2014. You can check out the track, Mirrors, below.

The band are transatlatic--calling both New York and Berlin home. This record's genesis was in a cabin in East Germany that was made into a recording studio. The band lived and recorded there. The house itself was an instrument. The recording includes sounds from the oven, clocks and slamming doors.

This is a really interesting band. The whole "house as an instrument" thing sounds like a gimmick. It isn't. You wouldn't notice this in the music if you weren't told about it and that is as it should be.
